Food and social contacts are indispensable for human life. The kitchen is a perfect place for spending time together and to interact with each other in one room.
Certain trends in cooking for fastness, convenience and independence go against this great function of a kitchen.
The comic or graphic essay "Problem Design" is dealing with this issue by looking at a designer who creates problems in the kitchen that can only be solved in company. Unfortunately his own problem is that his interventions are being misunderstood, as he looks from top down onto his "clients" and the Issue of solitariness and loneliness.
